Overview: The TruVativ T-30 10S is a lightweight, wide, carbon cross country bar that doesn’t break the bank.

With their beautifully finished unidirectional carbon weave and extra width, both avid riser bar and flat bar veterans alike will appreciate the comfort after spending some time in the cockpit of the T-30 10S. Traditionally, flat bars were too narrow and did not have enough sweep, leading to cramped body positioning and numb hands. With a hefty 10-degree backsweep and 700 mm width, SRAM built a bar that is ergonomically sound. The extra width offers increased control in the technical sections, allowing the rider to pull harder over obstacles due to the added leverage. The extra backsweep keeps the wrists happy and the hands full of blood and sensitivity. Numb hands are dangerous.

Dip hard into corners with confidence knowing SRAM’s mesh reinforcement in the clamp and lever zones have you covered. Even under the biggest stress loads (big descents and big climbs), this lightweight bar does not deliver any undesired flex while still offering carbon fiber’s signature small chatter compliance. Rocky/root filled lines are better suited on this bar than an ultra-stiff aluminum alternative.

With the 29r movement building strength, the right flat bar is a hot commodity. Given the design characteristics of the big wheels, the front end sits higher, decreasing drag efficiency. The flat bar keeps the front end low and the saddle-to-bar-drop remains at a respectable level. Set-up is easy for SRAM has markings at the stem and lever zones, ensuring the bar is centered and properly angled given the rider’s preferences.

Conclusion: A great bar for any XC/Trail rider/racer looking for extra width, healthy sweep, and burly construction.
