As with most cycling accessories, gloves need to be durable while providing a good fit. It is amazing how many different gloves you need to try before finding the right feel between skin and bars. Troy Lee Designs has created a simple answer to the glove dilemma by utilizing their original XC design combined with a moldable material that fits and conforms to different hand types. Through this combination of stretch Spandex and Air-Prene material the XC creates a protective, snug fitting, sweat wicking barrier between rider and bike. A non-restrictive, lightweight fit, accompanied by a padded, single layer Clarino leather palm and silicon appliqué on the fingers makes the TLD XC a versatile and comfortable glove that grabs and protects where you need it. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of some gloves out there, but creates an unobtrusive connection between rider and bike. After six months of solid riding the gloves are no longer white, but the TLD XC is still intact without holes. The TLD XC goes down in our books as a durable and worthy glove for any rider seeking superior comfort and great durability. For more info on the TLD XC glove, check outTroyLeeDesigns.com.
