Built for the Road Work and Play in a Custom Van
Training shop techs, hosting clinics and servicing bikes are all in a day’s work for the crew at Modus Sport Group. Covering eight states throughout the Northwest, this is a team that lives for mountain biking, and lives for the road. To meet the demands of their mobile operation, Modus recently built out two new Ford Transit vans for their tech reps to use as they drive everything from city streets to backcountry dirt roads– traveling in style wherever a given job takes them.
Join tech rep Aaron Bradford in this video as he walks you through the process of creating his home away from home. His van tour showcases Modus’ overall work philosophy where every painstaking detail is carefully considered. Furthering their commitment to radness and pushing the boundaries of quality, the Modus crew sourced sustainable materials and bought as much as they could from businesses in the local Bend, Oregon region. Examples of that include wool for insulation, lumber from local distributors, and hemp-based wood sealant.
Be sure to stop by and say hello if you see Aaron at a race or bike shop. Or, as is common on the quiet byways of the American West, offer up a friendly ol’ two finger wave when you see a big blue Modus van heading in your direction. Such gestures go a long way for a hard working crew who spend much of their time out on the open road.
