Born and raised in northern California, Stan’s first exposure to downhill racing came at Northstar in 2007. Forever an adrenaline junky, he earned his pro status in a mere four years…until a dirt-biking accident and six months of couch-bound knee rehab forced him to reevaluate his love for high speeds. When he returned it was on a “little” bike racing enduro, and during his initial season he competed in California’s Fontana winter series and a 55-mile long, 10,000-foot climb race in Catalina, earned 1st place at the Big Bear Super D, 3rd in the Washington Enduro and 8th at the Kamikaze Enduro. “Little” bike indeed.
