It wasn’t until after a collegiate-level soccer career that Carpinteria, CA native Sondra Williamson first found herself on a mountain bike. She took to it immediately; in 2007 she won the US Open of Downhill as an amateur and earned pro status a year later. In 2012 she dabbled in enduro at Finale Ligure, Italy, and placed 9th—completely hooked, the next year she raced in three of the four California series events, finishing her season at the World Enduro Series in Finale Ligure. Beyond ripping courses, Sondra can be found giving race recaps or modeling for companies like Alpinestar, TEVA and Specialized, among others.
