Bologna (ITA), September 23rd, 2011 – As one of the main partners of the event, we are getting ready for the Roc D‘Azur (Oct 5th – 9th, Fréjus) in sunny Southern France. Of course, we’re also making sure to pack our new 2012 product line for one of the biggest mountain bike festivals in Europe! Since the days of the Bomber fork when we were the first to introduce a gravity mountain bike fork to the market, we have grown and expanded our horizons. With our involvement in the Roc D’Azur, we want to show you that over the years, XC has become another one of our specialties. We are particularly proud of the CORSA Superleggera: Superleggera means “super light” and there’s a reason for that. These forks won’t let you down on your XC adventures while at the same time they won’t bear you down with any excess weight.

For 2012, we not only bring you the CORSA Superleggera you’ve come to rely on, but we are also introducing a completely new fork that is a true lightweight: The CORSA Superleggera 29”. This fork is 100% optimized for the big wheel, super lightweight with a carbon fiber crown and steer tube and fits wider tires than any of its competitors. So whether you ride on 26” wheels or are a fan of the 29” inch trend, the CORSA Superleggera is always the right fork for the perfect XC experience and features the latest suspension technology. For the 26" fork, we have designed a completely new XC casting for the perfect combination between low weight and high performance. Super light and super fast, this fork has a race soul and is the best friend of marathon racers as well as XC riders: full Marzocchi performance under 1500gr.
The revolutionary TST micro, featuring lockout (with remote control on handlebar), micro adjust compression, and rebound is a light sealed cartridge including all tuning needs for marathon racers or XC riders. Slightly redesigned to reach perfection, the TST Micro is the latest step in a forward evolution of our closed cartridge hydraulic system. The red knob on the lower part of the fork leg adjusts rebound; the black top lever activates the Micro system controlling compression. The Micro adjustment located in the middle of the top left knob sets the threshold valve in order to offer maximum traction and control on any terrain and combining it with any riding style. Lockout is activated quick and easy by turning the Micro knob completely to the closed position, then shifting the remote control to the locked position.
The new AER cartridge combines the low weight of an air fork with the performance of coil damping. Thanks to the negative spring, we can simulate the progression curve of a coil right from the beginning of the travel. Completely reengineered, the new air system is absolutely unique on the market. The trademark plushness of a coil combined with air preload offers the ideal compression curve to any rider. The low pressure required keeps the seals sliding smoothly on the surface avoiding any friction. Plus, the fixed piston in the closed cartridge further reduces weight because less oil is needed in the entire system.
