As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile individual to join our team in an administrative, accounting, and human resources role.

Position Overview: As our Accounting & HR Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our dynamic company. Working closely with our management team, you will handle a range of administrative tasks, managing business accounting responsibilities, and human resources functions.


Key Responsibilities


Accounting/Admin:

  • Compile and analyze company KPIs for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for Freehub’s management team
  • Assist with the financial planning process for annual budgets and forecast updates
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks such as processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare federal and state tax filings (including sales tax) with support from our outsourced accounting firm
  • Maintain company bank accounts and credit card program
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and expense reimbursements
  • Run commission reports for the Freehub sales team
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Human Resources:

  • Executing human resources functions including employee onboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration
  • Assist with recruitment efforts including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment regulations


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in business operations, administrative, accounting, or human resources roles preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and experience with QuickBooks accounting software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and compliance

Schedule: This is a part-time position, approximately 20-30 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options available. Full-time employment may be available to the right candidate.

Anticipated Start Date: October 1st, 2024

Work Location: Our office is located in Bellingham, WA. This position will require on-site work.


Compensation

Pay Range: $26.44 - $31.25 Hourly wage depending on experience.
